Accessibility

This web site aims to achieve double-A conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 (WCAG 1.0) of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). The aim of these guidelines is to explain how to make web content accessible to people with disabilities.

To ensure that our website is truly accessible, the biggest test can only come from viewing real pages with real users who do experience disability issues. If you have any further questions or comments to make regarding this issue, please contact us via our feedback form (see link at the bottom of each page).

The site has been constructed using several accessibility principles to allow users, including those with visual impairments and other disadvantaged groups, to access the information contained on the site. However, some of the tools and technologies used are immature at present and may not be fully accessible to all users - where this is the case we will aim to improve the site as these tools and technologies mature.
